Provides analysis and recommendations for client's business needs. Develops well-written recommendations, based on best business practices that provide alternatives, costs and time frames. This is a senior level position in this career path.</p> <p>Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Project Leader. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments</p> <ul> <li>Develops, enhances, installs, and tests computer software applications based on specifications. Writes complex structured query language (SQL) queries. </li><li>Designs and develops complex databases. </li><li>Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements. </li><li>Analyses and troubleshoots application problems working with technical staff and customers. </li><li>Leads project team in small to medium size projects and coordinates team tasks with assistance of technical leads. </li><li>Analyses client's business needs and provides recommendations for automated solutions. </li><li>Monitors client systems for performance and efficiency. </li><li>Communicates and interacts with customer contacts and functions as a liaison to increase efficiency and functionality of software applications. </li><li>Provides on call support as needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. </li><li>Documents applications, technical specifications and user manuals. </li><li>Maintains current technology expertise. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or closely related field and four years of recent progressively responsible programming and systems analysis experience.
