They may be responsible for covering routes due to call-offs, staffing shortages, hotshot deliveries, or other business needs.</p> <p>Responsible for managing delivery drivers on a day-to-day basis which includes the orientation and ongoing training for delivery drivers and the development of corresponding training materials. Runs routes on as needed basis for continuous customer service. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.</p> <p>Design and conduct driver training in the most cost effective and efficient manner.</p> <p>Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (i.e., hours of service, pre-trip/post-trip, etc). Organize driver qualification files on a monthly basis.
