<p>Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical Services</p> <p>Work Mode: Onsite</p> <p>Location:?Onsite, - Kohler, WI</p> <p>Opportunity</p> <p>The Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical Services is an onsite leadership role that oversees skilled trades associates while managing mechanical maintenance projects and reactive work. This position ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by driving continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and project execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a commitment to mentoring and developing team members.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and supervise a team of skilled trades associates, ensuring daily and weekly maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. </li><li>Assign and prioritize reactive and preventive maintenance work using SAP tools. </li></ul> <p>Audit completed work orders for accuracy and data integrity.</p> <ul> <li>Foster a positive, high-performance team culture through recognition, coaching, and development. </li><li>Enforce safety, environmental, and company policies, including disciplinary actions when necessary. </li><li>Evaluate and plan incoming work requests, segregating tasks by priority and risk. </li><li>Develop scopes of work, timelines, and budgets for projects, provide cost estimates to internal customers. </li><li>Coordinate projects, preventive maintenance, and shutdowns. </li><li>Create and communicate weekly schedules. </li><li>Lead weekly planning and scheduling meetings with stakeholders. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, RCA, BPR, PM optimization). </li><li>Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for welding and rigging programs, providing technical guidance, training, and oversight to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational safety protocols. </li><li>Maintain and improve the lifting fixture programs. </li><li>Mentor millwrights, welders and apprentices. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs, equipment records, and safety procedures. </li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal standards. </li><li>Hold daily shift meetings and provide regular updates to leadership. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Electro-mechanical, Supervisory Management, or related field preferred. </li><li>5+ years of hands-on technical experience in maintenance; 3+ years in a supervisory or planning role. </li><li>Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. </li><li>Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Maintenance Management Certification preferred. </li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and develop job plans and estimates. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Onsite</p> <p>#LI-SM1</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>We believe in supporting you from the moment you join us, which is why Kohler offers day 1 benefits. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
