<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Art Program within the school of Art, Communications, Media and Music invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in Drawing as part of the Art degree.</p> <p>Classes are conducted as 3-hour studios that meet once a week or 1 hour 25 minute studios that meet twice a week. Morning and daytime availability is highly desirable.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Master's Degree in Art with a concentration in drawing or painting from a regionally accredited college or university</p> <p>or</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts degree and experience in the subject area of drawing or painting.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Ideal candidates will have professional experience working in drawing or painting. </li><li>The college seeks educators who have experience working with students from widely diverse backgrounds. </li><li>Prior college teaching experience. </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (other languages will be considered). </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>The ability to encourage student success is essential to teaching at Onondaga Community College. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour.
