Work at Michigan Medicine and become a victor for the greater good.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>Duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform vital sign checks. </li><li>Perform chem sticks. </li><li>Assist patients with or administer routine personal hygiene. </li><li>Prepare patients for appointments. </li><li>Ambulate, move, and lift patients. </li><li>Assist with feeding patients. </li><li>Assist patient with bed pan and urinal service and record output. </li><li>Assist nurse with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. </li><li>Respond to call lights. </li><li>Work under the supervision of a professional nurse. </li><li>Assist in obtaining and caring for equipment. </li><li>Help maintain a safe, clean environment on the patient unit. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <p>Must currently be enrolled in a Nursing program and have completed at least one clinical rotation or have Nurse Aide certification.</p> <p>Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities which include moving, transporting and positioning patients and equipment as well and constantly positioning self to provide patient care and related duties.</p> <p>Work Schedule</p> <p>8hr Shifts, including days, evenings and midnights.</p> <p>Must be able to work 2 shifts per month and be willing to work weekends.</p> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
