The company applies proprietary machine-learning algorithms and data processing resources to measure travel patterns of vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians that enable complex transportation problem solving using analytics available on SaaS platform, StreetLight InSight. Acquired by Jacobs as a subsidiary in February 2022, StreetLight continues to provide innovative digital solutions to help communities reduce congestion, improve safe and equitable transportation, and maximize the positive impact of infrastructure investment.</p> <p>As a member of our Small Medium Business Sales Team - Public Sector, you will help communities become smart, sustainable Cities. You can become a leader in the transition to data-driven planning. This person will be responsible for selling SaaS and related mobility data offerings, executing successful sales strategies and tactics to meet annual and quarterly sales targets. You will bring your sales expertise to prospecting for new business and closing deals of up to $100,000 ARR.</p> <p>This position requires past success in prospecting, developing, and closing SaaS and/or data product sales. A working knowledge of transportation metrics, location-based services data (LBS), GIS or related geospatial data is strongly preferred.</p> <p>Location: Remote within the US. PT or MT time zones preferred.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Prospecting, and selling StreetLight's mobility data offerings including SaaS, and custom project subscriptions to cities and other small public agencies. </li><li>Closing subscription sales up to six figures. </li><li>Consistently prospecting for new business and building your sales pipeline through individual, outbound efforts. </li><li>Promptly responding to and qualifying inbound leads generated through marketing channels. </li><li>Effectively presenting and demonstrating StreetLight products to prospects via video conferencing and attending occasional in person conferences. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in a closing role. </li><li>Experience selling SaaS products, extra points if you have experience in data, analytics, GIS or related field. </li><li>A strong work ethic and understanding that self-discipline and hard work are a minimum standard for success in Sales. </li><li>Proven ability to learn and execute a sale process. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain and demonstrate a technical product to both decision makers and end-users. </li><li>Familiarity with modern sales engagement and automation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce. </li><li>A strong team player, comfortable working up, down and across organizations, internally and externally, to create success for yourself and your teammates. </li><li>A mission-driven mind-set, excited about working in a company that is striving to deliver products that help make the world a better place. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <p>Previous experience selling to engineering, construction, transportation, government agencies, and/or architecture is a plus.</p> <p>Total comp for this role is initially projected at $105,000 to $125,000 after OTE but commissions are uncapped.</p> <p>#MB-5</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>70,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>75,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
