<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support Staff/Parking Lot Attendant/Security</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>8/21/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Middle School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>09/16/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>09/16/2025</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position: Parking Lot Attendant</p> <p>East Brook Middle School Effective Date(s): 2025-2026 school year Employment Terms: 3 hours per day</p> <p>7:00-8:30 am and 2:15-3:45 pm, Monday through Friday</p> <p>10 Month work year; follows student school calendar Job Goal: To assist in the maintenance of a safe school environment for students and staff.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with all school age students. </li><li>Demonstrated interest in education and students. </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>Reports to: Building Principal and Security Coordinator Salary: $22.40 per hour Performance Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Primary responsibility is to direct the orderly and safe movement of people and vehicles in the school parking lot, while assisting students, parents, and school staff, to safely cross designated cross walks. </li><li>The Paramus Police Department will provide crossing guard training to all new crossing guards. </li><li>Notify security, or school personnel of unauthorize persons or vehicles, on school property. </li><li>Notify security or school personnel of any physical conditions which appeared hazardous to students or staff. </li><li>Assist visitor and provide direction and guidance. </li><li>Notify security, or school personnel in the event of an incident involving students. </li><li>Cooperate with and provide assistance to emergency personnel responding to the school. </li><li>Provide whatever assistance is required to promote an orderly, safe, and pleasant school environment. </li><li>Assumes other tasks as assigned from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Application: Qualified individuals interested in applying are invited to apply online via Applitrack at https://www.applitrack.com/paramus/onlineapp/default.aspx Requirements: 1.
