Let People, Incorporated be Your Path to Opportunity!</p> <p>SUMMARY: The Custodian is responsible for the overall cleanliness and general building repairs of People Incorporateds Perkins Center site.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform general janitorial work in accordance with an established schedule. </li><li>Review maintenance checklist weekly. </li><li>Schedule and/or complete building and fixture inspections to effect repair and/or replacement as necessary. This includes smoke detectors, exit lights, fire alarms, plumbing, electrical, heating systems, paint, etc. </li><li>Perform seasonal property maintenance, such as snow removal, sanding, and de-icing of walkways, in addition to parking lot and lawn clean-up, etc. </li><li>Ensure the kitchen dispensers are stocked with forks and spoons. </li><li>Ensure the bathrooms are cleaned and stocked. </li><li>Inform supervisor of supply orders (such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towels) </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>Participate in all staff meetings and required training sessions, including in-service training, as scheduled. </li><li>Maintain all program and Agency required training. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform basic building and property maintenance. </li><li>Ability to properly use hand tools and/or instruments and cleaning agents. </li><li>Ability to follow direction. </li><li>Ability to work and communicate with others to provide immediate response. </li><li>A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid drivers license preferred. </li></ul> <p>People Incorporated is committed to an inclusive and diverse work environment.
