<p>Position Summary</p> <p>To see the full list of duties view the position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting pay rate for this position is between $35.14 - $41.00 per hour ($73,091 and $85,280 annually), depending on experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan in effect at the time of hire. Starting pay for current state employees may vary based on applicable provisions in the Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Background Checks: Due to the nature of this position, final candidates will be subject to criminal background, fingerprint, and tax compliance checks.</p> <p>I-9 Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship) at the time of appointment. The Department of Revenue does not sponsor work or student visas and is not an eligible OPT employer for those with F1 visas. DOR participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information for all new employees to confirm authorization to work in the U.S.</p> <p>Probationary Period: A 12-month probationary period will be required.</p> <p>Remote/Telework up to 60%. During probation you will have the opportunity to gradually increase to 60% (i.e. working remotely three (3) days per week, and will report to your assigned headquarters location, two (2) days per week) within 9 months (of your 12-month probation) based on performance and workload needs.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum qualified candidates will have all of the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience analyzing state or federal laws or regulations related to alcohol beverages.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience providing one-on-one customer service through oral and written communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience writing and editing communications for an organization that are distributed to the public or mass audiences (such as listserv emails, press releases, guidance, advisories, instructional publications, training courses, forms, instructions, and website or social media content).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience speaking or providing training to internal or external groups (such as employee training, presenting to a stakeholder group, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience multitasking or prioritizing a wide range of tasks (Such as independently making decisions in order to meet deadlines and being able to quickly pivot to meet a high priority need, while still maintaining day-to-day operations).</p> </li></ul> <p>Well qualified candidates will have a minimum of one (1.) of the following in addition to the minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience analyzing Wisconsin Statutes or Administrative Codes related to alcohol beverages.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience speaking or providing training to internal and external audiences groups (such as employee training, presenting to a stakeholder group, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience performing policy analysis or development in the public sector (e.g., state, federal, or local government).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience communicating policy issues to executive leaders or external stakeholders.</p> </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>To be considered for this position, you must complete the online application.
