<p>Community Medical & Dental Care is looking for a part-time Optometrist.</p> <p>Optometrist Job Duties:</p> <p>Examine eyes, using observation, instruments, and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus, and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities.</p> <p>Remove foreign bodies from the eye.</p> <p>Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan.</p> <p>Prescribe, supply fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, Prism lenses, and eye Therapy.</p> <p>Prescribe medications to treat eye diseases as license permits.</p> <p>Administer and manage vision therapy program.</p> <p>Educate patients, family members, and others involved in the patient's eye care</p> <p>Optometrist Requirements:</p> <p>Degree from an accredited school of Optometry</p> <p>Active NYS license and DEA</p> <p>Board Certified</p> <p>Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus</p> <p>Community Medical and Dental Care, Inc., has been providing quality medical care to the underserved population of Rockland County, NY, and its surrounding areas since 1993.
