<p>Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1st Shift</p> <p>Bodycote offers:</p> <ul> <li>$1,500 Sign-on Retention Bonus. </li><li>Paid holidays and paid time off. </li><li>401k match, Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans for employees and families. </li><li>Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week. </li><li>5:45 am - 1:45 pm, Monday through Friday. </li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical. </li></ul> <p>Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk packs customer parts and ensures all paperwork is in order to ship parts and unpacks, inspects, and stages customer parts for production, and receives all other materials shipped to the site.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.</p> <ul> <li>This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage. </li><li>Use the ERP system to generate documents and perform shipping/receiving functions. </li><li>Review job folder, inspect, and pack parts being shipped. </li><li>Document all applicable data for parts being shipped per job folder. </li><li>Prepare all appropriate documents to go with the parts as per the job folder. </li><li>Receive deliveries and unpack products for production. </li><li>Inspect incoming customer parts and verify product count. </li><li>Initiate the job folder and hand it off to production planning. </li><li>Document all applicable data for parts being received per job folder. </li><li>Prepare all appropriate documents to go with the parts as per the job folder. </li><li>Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely shipment and resolve issues. </li><li>Assist the supervisor in developing processes that will improve operations. </li><li>Observe all Environment, Health, and Safety Policy requirements. </li><li>Keeping the work area neat and orderly at all times. </li><li>Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). </li><li>Disposal of waste per safety standards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
