<p>RWE Americas, LLC</p> <p>To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent</p> <p>Functional area: Finance / Controlling</p> <p>Remuneration: Exempt</p> <p>Distributed Clean Energy (DCE) is responsible for the development of small to mid-size solar, battery storage, and energy efficiency opportunities, to the Community solar, Distributed Energy Resource, Municipal/Co-op, and Commercial and Industrial Markets. The purpose of the Senior Budget and Forecasting Associate is to work with the DCE staff to manage the budgeting, forcasting and financial reporting of the DCE organization, including participating in the preparation of the DCE annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates, monthly reconciliation of DCE P&L relative to forecast, and coordinating and preparing monthly development pipeline and financial performance reports. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating, validating, and preparing corporate financial risk reports and surety reporting. This position will interface with Controlling, Accounting, and Risk Management organizations on behalf of DCE.</p> <p>Role Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare a monthly performance metrics report </li><li>Analyze actual results against the monthly budget forecast </li><li>Prepare annual and quarterly budgets and financial forecasts. </li><li>Work with DCE senior staff, Accounting and Controlling to ensure that DCE expense and revenue line items are accurately booked and reported on the company financial statements </li><li>Prepare risk reports for RWECE that reflect DCE requirements, including: Quarterly Risk Report, Contra G Report, Performance Guarantee Report </li><li>Participate in the development of the DCE annual budget and quarterly forecast updates throughout the year </li><li>Liaison between the DCE group and Controlling and Accounting organizations </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements and Experiences:</p> <ul> <li>Accounting or Finance degree </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external customer relationships </li><li>Demonstrated desire to learn about the Distributed Clean Energy group and the distributed energy markets </li><li>Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams </li><li>Experience working with SAP accounting software or other financial software is a plus </li><li>Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines </li><li>Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables </li><li>Ability to multitask, while working independently and as part of a team </li><li>Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities </li><li>Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds </li><li>Responds well to direction and is coachable </li><li>Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts </li><li>This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office </li></ul> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
