<p>Be the First Point of Connection in Patient Care</p> <p>Join our team as a Patient Access Associate, where you play a critical role in creating a smooth and welcoming experience for patients entering the healthcare system. In this position, you'll handle patient registration, admissions, insurance verification, and bed assignment-ensuring both excellent service and accurate financial processing.</p> <p>Reporting to the Supervisor and Manager of Patient Access, you'll help support efficient patient flow while protecting the financial integrity of the organization through accurate data collection and billing practices.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Register patients accurately and efficiently for hospital and clinical services </li><li>Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and bed assignments </li><li>Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with third-party payers </li><li>Collect and enter demographic and financial information into hospital systems </li><li>Ensure compliance with Medicare and insurance billing regulations </li><li>Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive patient information </li><li>Support revenue cycle processes and help minimize billing errors </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <p>Required Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li></ul> <p>Required Experience</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in hospital registration, patient access, or healthcare billing preferred </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification</p> <ul> <li>Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred </li></ul> <p>Key Skills & Strengths</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of third-party payers and insurance verification processes </li><li>Understanding of Medicare billing practices and healthcare regulations </li><li>Experience with hospital billing and revenue cycle workflows </li><li>Strong computer skills and familiarity with registration or billing systems </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal and customer service skills across diverse populations </li><li>Ability to manage confidential information with accuracy and discretion </li><li>Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Play a vital role in both patient experience and hospital operations </li><li>Gain experience in healthcare revenue cycle and access services </li><li>Collaborative, team-oriented work environment </li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and certification support </li></ul>
