<p>A&P Mechanics</p> <p>We are currently hiring A&P Mechanics to join our team in Savannah, GA.</p> <p>Hourly Pay: $44/hr ST, $66/hr OT</p> <p>In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area team members will receive $147 daily allowance for lodging, $1,029.00 max allowance per week.</p> <p>Bonus Programs</p> <ol> <li>Referral Bonus </li></ol> <ul> <li>Please inquire for bonus details if you are a current Field Team member. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>New Employee Bonus </li></ol> <ul> <li>Start Bonus: $500 paid on the first payroll check (must remain employed for at least 30 days to retain bonus) </li><li>Relocation Bonus: Additional $500 for candidates relocating from out of state </li></ul> <p>(Paid on the 5th payroll check; must complete 8 weeks to qualify. Bonuses may be prorated if requirements are not fully met.)</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <p>As an A&P Mechanic, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform repairs and rework on Aerospace nacelle products including:</p> </li><li> <p>Inlet Cowls, Fan Cowls, Thrust Reversers, Aprons, and Engine Build-Up (EBU)</p> </li><li> <p>Assemble, fabricate, and install structural components for G400 flight test aircraft</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret and follow blueprints, technical documents, and verbal instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Use hand and power tools, drill motors, and measuring equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Apply sealants, primers, and other materials per specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in inspections, team collaboration, and continuous improvement activities</p> </li><li> <p>Work in compliance with safety standards and complete other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Must-Have Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>A&P License required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and structural modification</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of:</p> </li><li> <p>Aircraft systems and engine components</p> </li><li> <p>Blueprints and part replacement paperwork</p> </li><li> <p>Quality assurance processes</p> </li><li> <p>Confidence in working with Quality Inspectors and independently resolving technical issues</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with aircraft structures is essential</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Aerospace nacelle products is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Steel/composite toe shoes required</p> </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency with:</p> </li><li> <p>Drill motors, air tools, hand tools, and precision measuring devices</p> </li><li> <p>Working with sealants, paints, and solvents safely and accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow detailed written instructions and perform accurate measurement</p> </li></ul> <p>Interpersonal & Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated and team-oriented </li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt quickly </li><li>Comfortable bending, squatting, and working at heights (including ladders, lifts, and using harnesses) </li><li>Ability to wear and work in PPE as required </li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and alternate shifts, based on flight test demands </li></ul> <p>Schedule Flexibility Required</p> <p>Candidates must be flexible with shift schedules and willing to support extended hours and weekend work as needed by the flight test program.</p> <p>Join the Saxon Team</p> <p>Help shape the future of aviation with Saxon.
