<p>MAU is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our client in Blythewood, SC. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems of the physical structures and production equipment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.</p> <p>Benefits Package</p> <ul> <li>401k matching </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Opportunity for advancement </li></ul> <p>Shift Information</p> <ul> <li>3rd shift, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; AND/OR </li><li>3 - 5+ years of related experience and/or training; OR </li><li>Equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>General Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Basic troubleshooting, mechanical, PLC, electrical, and fabrication </li><li>Electrical knowledge and experience </li><li>Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codes </li><li>Basic knowledge of arc flash standards </li><li>Ability to use basic hand tools </li><li>Ability to use computer systems to use work order system and find repair parts </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Current South Carolina Master Electrician license </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot automated metal working machinery </li><li>Install electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac, and 480vac </li><li>Plan installations based on requirements listed on machine name plates </li><li>Bend and install electrical conduit and wire, install breaker panels and junction boxes, and terminate all wiring </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panels </li><li>Install/maintain all plant lighting </li><li>Maintain 1 line drawing for main electrical system and trace and mark individual circuits in panels </li><li>Assist other areas of facility maintenance when necessary </li><li>Work within a team environment to achieve the current goal for facility maintenance </li><li>Maintain 5s in all maintenance and facility areas </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>Work Environment or Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection </li></ul>
