<p>The Physical Therapist (PT) position is within the PM&R service and evaluates patients and develops and delivers functional rehabilitation plans using various assessment methods and tools. The primary focus is direct patient care across multiple clinic settings. Responsibilities cover all clinical areas (inpatient, outpatient, CLC, and other areas as assigned) associated with PM&R services.</p> <p>Major Duties that include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Consulting with other staff, participating in patient care planning, and providing appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients. </li><li>Complete other tasks assigned by the PT supervisor to support the overall mission and function of the PM&R service. </li><li>Independently assesses and treats inpatients and outpatients based on referrals and self-referrals. </li><li>Evaluate and diagnose conditions related to, but not limited to musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and integumentary systems, while considering personal and environmental factors. </li><li>Integrate findings to create and modify individualized physical therapy plans, make clinical decisions, set treatment goals, and coordinate with and refer to other medical services as needed. </li><li>Use established protocols, recognize contraindications, and adjust treatments based on changes in the patient's condition. </li><li>Delegate care to and oversee physical therapy assistants as part of the physical therapy plan. </li><li>Attend in-services, training, and conferences. </li><li>Complete all patient care encounters using correct CPT and diagnosis codes, maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, and follows departmental procedures for scheduling and patient check-in/check-out. </li><li>Complete quality improvement activities, participate in program development, and carry out other tasks as assigned by the PT supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Telework: Not Available</p> <p>Virtual: This is not a virtual position.</p> <p>Functional Statement #: 09110-F</p> <p>Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized</p> <p>Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized</p>
