<p>REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering or scientific field; a minimum of three years of direct fund-raising experience, preferably with a higher education organization; exceptional organizational, project management, communication, and time management skills; active learner and effective communicator, who has a strong interest in the BE mission; exceptional interpersonal skills for relating with diverse constituencies, including faculty, alumni, resource development colleagues, and industrial partners; robust writing skills, with an ability to produce high-quality and compelling written materials for department leadership; knowledge of professional options and career strategies, particularly, but not exclusively in engineering or other related fields; experience presenting content to large groups; proficiency with office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to handle confidential information using discretion and judgment; proficiency with prospect management systems or other CRM systems; and ability to manage multiple projects with confidentiality and discretion; PREFERRED: Experience with research university culture and administration; and a proven record of successful cultivation and solicitation of 6-figure+ gifts and entrepreneurial approach to developing a prospect pool.
