<p>The Hair Stylist is responsible for the comfort of guests while performing cuts, styles, chemical services and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments according to the standards, protocols and procedures of the Peppermill Resort and Spa Toscana.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and consult on individual preferences with guests prior to treatments according to spa guidelines. Be familiar with and able to recommend spa services. </li><li>Assist in escorting guests to treatment area and to waiting area for other services. </li><li>Perform hair treatments according to Spa Toscana procedures, protocols, and standards. </li><li>Learn proper technical procedures and protocols as specified by the spa manuals. </li><li>Comply with state and local regulations for room and sanitation procedures, standards, and safety measures. </li><li>Assist as needed with daily maintenance and upkeep of other treatment areas. </li><li>Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service. </li><li>Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess a valid Nevada State Board of Cosmetology License. </li><li>Able to acquire Alcohol Awareness Card. </li><li>Minimum of 6 months spa/hair styling experience. </li><li>Must possess and maintain knowledge of current hairstyles and trends. </li><li>Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. </li></ul>
