<p>Manufacturing Process Engineer</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join the Production Engineering team at a leading manufacturing facility in Blauvelt, NY.</p> <p>In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, improving workflow efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and engineering leadership to support production goals, quality standards, and long-term operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong process improvement and manufacturing experience to make a significant impact within a high-demand production environment.</p> <p>Location: Blauvelt, NY 10913</p> <p>Workplace Type: 100% On-site</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM</p> <p>Compensation: $36.06-$45.67/hour (based on experience)</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Daily Production Support</p> </li><li> <p>Provide hands-on support to daily production activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct PFMEA reviews and lead process troubleshooting.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and revise manufacturing process documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure effective ECN (Engineering Change Notice) processes and documentation flow.</p> </li><li> <p>Process & Continuous Improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) projects across the production floor.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply Lean tools-5S, Kaizen, waste elimination-to enhance workflow and reduce cycle time.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to support data-driven improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and optimize process mapping, material flow, and standard work documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Engineering Support</p> </li><li> <p>Provide manufacturing design support using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.</p> </li><li> <p>Support development of visual factory tools, work instructions, and process flows.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct time studies, root cause analysis (RCCA), and corrective action implementation using 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D methods.</p> </li><li> <p>Safety, Ergonomics & Quality</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and ergonomic assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Quality Engineering to enhance product and process quality through data-driven analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Project & NPD (New Product Development) Support</p> </li><li> <p>Support major capital projects (CARA) from justification through implementation.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate on NPD initiatives from engineering validation to production validation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure alignment of project milestones and manufacturing readiness.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>5+ years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering (7-10 years preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing process improvement, process management, and workflow optimization. </li><li>Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (required) and AutoCAD. </li><li>Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. </li><li>Demonstrated ability in time studies, process flow analysis, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). </li><li>Experience with material flow analysis. </li><li>Previous experience creating or revising work instructions. </li><li>Knowledge of visual factory implementation. </li></ul> <p>Employee Value Proposition</p> <ul> <li>Long-term temp-to-perm opportunity with high conversion potential. </li><li>Our client has a 10+ year partnership with strong project extension rates. </li><li>Gain valuable hands-on experience in a well-established, growing manufacturing environment. </li><li>Accrued sick and vacation time included. </li><li>Work with a highly collaborative engineering and production team. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>On-site at a clean, well-organized manufacturing facility in Blauvelt, NY. </li><li>Business casual workplace. </li><li>Day shift hours with consistent weekly schedule. </li><li>Fast-paced environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Business Need</p> <ul> <li>This position was created due to increased manufacturing demand, new project workload, and identified inefficiencies in current processes.
