<p>Description</p> <p>Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to automotive and powersports markets.</p> <p>We are seeking a Machine Operator to run coiling machines at our PAC Racing Springs facility in Southfield, Michigan. This position will train on first shift but may move to a second or third shift after training is complete.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Read and understand product prints, set-up procedures, and processing parameters. </li><li>Select machine tooling such as coiling points, pitch tools, and feed-rolls to produce various types of spring </li><li>products. </li><li>Select and load spring wire into machines with forklift; all wire is verified with micrometers & digital calipers. </li><li>Produce and revise CNC program for optimum spring products, as needed. </li><li>Produce trial parts from initial coiling setup to final operations to validate all processing steps prior to production </li><li>runs. </li><li>Verify product dimensions and performance with various types of inspection equipment and measurement tools. </li><li>Maintain, adjust, and control machine during production to maintain high level of SPC quality per the print </li><li>tolerances. </li><li>Strive to optimize production speeds and quality. </li><li>Recommend and review products with engineers, technicians, and coworkers for continuous improvement </li><li>opportunities. </li><li>Repair minor equipment issues. </li><li>Record data relative to the quality of the springs/parts being produced. </li><li>Install guards to conform to safety standards, if necessary. </li><li>Ensure Quality, Safety and Environmental System requirements are followed. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Get:</p> <ul> <li>Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance as of Day One </li><li>Employer Paid Life and Disability Insurance </li><li>HSA with Employer Contributions </li><li>401(K) Retirement Plan with Company Match </li><li>Employee Wellness and Assistance Programs </li><li>Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Up to 13 Paid Company Holidays </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Prior manufacturing experience with a minimum of six months of CNC machining experience </li><li>Ability to use and read calipers and micrometers </li><li>Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel </li><li>Ability to use a forklift and maintain forklift license and certification </li><li>Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions </li><li>Physical demands: this position requires standing for long periods of time, frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds </li></ul>
