This position requires a successful background check and CJIS clearance as part of the conditional offer. If supporting administrative workflow, records and resources, finance and accounting, and technology as well as service expectations and communication for both internal and external constituents appeal to you, we invite you to apply!</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.</p> <ul> <li>Works in a team office environment within the office of the City Attorney. </li><li>Performs administrative support functions such as schedules meetings, greeting clients /s citizens and respond to telephone inquiries. </li><li>Compose and edit documents and emails for review. </li><li>Provide primary support for municipal court prosecution team. </li><li>Edit various documents received from the City Attorney and legal staff. </li><li>May coordinate, prepare, and monitor documents for the council agenda process on an as-needed basis. </li><li>May maintain legal library, and review, summarize, and code legal memoranda for file. </li><li>Reads and routes incoming mail. </li><li>May act as department liaison for computer technical needs, and department communications. </li><li>Coordinate and maintain various databases and spreadsheets to track work in progress. </li><li>Scan and code documents for electronic filing and retrieval. </li><li>Work closing with the various departments to coordinate and manage municipal court matters. </li></ul> <p>Management Responsibilities</p> <p>No</p> <p>City Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated cultural competence to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of diverse identities, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds. </li><li>Strong learning orientation.
