<p>Service Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator</p> <p>Pay $18-$21 an hour</p> <p>Location: Newport News, VA</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <p>Customer Service & Dispatch</p> <ul> <li> <p>Answer incoming service calls promptly and professionally (multi-line phone system).</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule all service requests within 24 hours and ensure timely technician response.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep customers updated on technician status and response times.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and update the dispatch board daily.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up on unscheduled or open service requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule surveys, warranty calls, start-ups, preventive maintenance, and quoted repair work.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform customer satisfaction calls as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Address customer concerns immediately and escalate when necessary.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Order Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create and verify accurate work orders, including customer details and cost coding.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete new customer setup and confirm payment method for first service.</p> </li><li> <p>Review open call lists weekly to ensure all calls are assigned and scheduled.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide daily paperwork to billing for processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Update customer portals as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Scheduling & Productivity</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assign technicians based on skill level, location, priority, and customer needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with sales/estimating teams to ensure technicians have required parts and job details.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure preventive maintenance and service agreements are completed on schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technicians with daily schedules for the following workday.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor technician performance and report concerns to management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Teamwork & Communication</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain strong communication with customers, technicians, and internal departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Support office staff as needed and contribute to process improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate professionalism, organization, and a team-oriented mindset.</p> </li></ul> <p>Safety & Compliance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Promote safe work practices in the office and field.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate construction warranty calls per established procedures.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED required.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum two years of data entry or administrative experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and service management software.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with customers and field staff.</p> </li></ul> <p>Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM</p> <p>If interested, please submit resume to amanix@blackrockres.com</p> <p>#LI-AM1</p>
