<p>The Delphi Community School Corporation is seeking applicants for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Our Board of Education will be working with The University Search Team consisting of educational leadership professors from Ball State, Indiana State, Indiana University, and Purdue University. The services of the University Search Team are provided without cost by our four major state universities. An application for the position has been posted on our website.</p> <p>The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the corporation. They are responsible for the effective operation of the district; for the general administration of all instructional, business, or other operations of the district; and for advising and making recommendations to the Delphi Community School District Board of Trustees with respect to such activities. Located in the heart of the city of Delphi are the Delphi Elementary, Delphi Middle School, and Delphi High School. Located in the heart of the city of Camden is Camden Childhood Education Center. The Camden Childhood Education Center has pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes. Delphi Community Elementary has pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The Delphi Community Middle School has grades six through eight and the Delphi Community High School has grades nine through twelve. Delphi Community School Corporation has strong ties with the community.</p> <p>The Delphi Community Board of Trustees is a seven member board with members elected and representing each of our seven townships. All board meetings are held the second Monday of the month except for July which is the third Monday of the month.
