<p>Title: Maintenance Technician</p> <p>Starting Pay: $20.00/hr</p> <p>Location: Tooele, UT</p> <p>Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exempt</p> <p>Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>You're someone who likes to stay active, work with your hands, and be part of a team. You communicate well and enjoy building good relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers. You take pride in keeping things running smoothly by handling regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs. When something needs attention, you're quick to step in-whether it's a service request, equipment replacement, or system update. You're organized, pay attention to detail, and help make sure the grow house team can work safely and efficiently.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As a Maintenance Technician at Curaleaf, you'll help keep our facility safe, efficient, and in great condition by handling a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including:</p> <ul> <li>Tour buildings and grounds regularly to identify and document facility needs or deficiencies </li><li>Complete daily and preventative maintenance work orders, ensuring all assigned tasks are handled in a timely and thorough manner </li><li>Respond quickly to emergency work orders such as water leaks, clogged drains, loss of power, or other safety-related issues </li><li>Perform general repairs on doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, and bathroom fixtures </li><li>Replace or restore ceilings, flooring, tiles, wall finishes, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and professional environment </li><li>Install and troubleshoot lighting systems by changing bulbs, fixtures, switches, and circuit breakers </li><li>Maintain plumbing fixtures by replacing washers, toilet seats, and other components </li><li>Complete urgent and routine work orders, including moving, assembling, and installing freestanding or wall-mounted equipment </li><li>Forward work orders that require completion by specific trades and ensure follow-up as needed </li><li>Patch, paint, and perform minor masonry, roofing, or surface repairs as necessary </li><li>Support seasonal upkeep such as snow removal, de-icing, and general grounds maintenance </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>You have a high school diploma or GED, ideally paired with a certificate from a vocational or certified school in building maintenance </li><li>You bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building or facility maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail </li><li>You're skilled in a wide range of maintenance tasks and tools, from electrical and plumbing repairs to carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance </li><li>You take a proactive, dependable, and safety-focused approach to your work and thrive whether working independently or as part of a team </li><li>You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and maintain a customer-focused mindset </li><li>You're comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, lifting heavy objects, and being outdoors in various weather conditions </li><li>You're flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to different shifts or hours to meet operational needs </li></ul> <p>Even Better If:</p> <ul> <li>You have experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting </li><li>You can confidently read and interpret prints, sketches, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, and schematics </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift) </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance </li><li>Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time </li><li>Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching </li><li>Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment </li><li>Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) </li><li>Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens </li><li>Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol </li><li>Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms </li><li>Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels </li></ul>
