<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Electrical Component Engineer in St. Louis, MO</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Electrical Component Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Apply electrical engineering knowledge to evaluate electrical and electronic components and identify alternate replacements for obsolete or at-risk parts </li><li>Perform proactive obsolescence forecasting and monitoring using component surveillance tools, predictive obsolescence systems, and OEM/supplier survey. </li><li>Monitor GIDEP alerts and provide obsolescence status reporting to internal engineering teams and government customer. </li><li>Develop obsolescence mitigation options and perform business case analyses supporting recommended resolution paths </li><li>Prepare and present technical material communicating DMSMS issues, risks, and proposed resolutions to customers and program stakeholders </li><li>Support recurring DMSMS and obsolescence working group meetings with internal teams and external government and industry partners </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Electrical Component Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Clearance Secret </li><li>2 to 3 years of relevant experience </li><li>Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or military programs </li><li>Familiarity with industry and military standards (e.g., SAE, MIL-SPECs, ASTM, IEEE) </li><li>Experience with component-level design, part selection, or alternate part substitution within established systems or circuits </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Electrical Component Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>$80,000 - $100,000 *Depending on Experience </li><li>Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law </li></ul> <p>#LI-SH2</p>
