Official start date will be August 25, 2025.</p> <p>Schedule: Ten-month position; works 180 days when school is in session for students plus one additional day before school starts each year. 7 hours paid per day with a half hour unpaid for lunch.</p> <p>Salary/Benefits: In accordance with the support staff collective bargaining agreement. Comprehensive benefits.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>JBHS is seeking a responsible, dependable and student centered individual to serve as a Commons and Study Hall Supervisor at our high school. This position will help maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment in our cafeteria and Athletics entrance during study halls and passing time.</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Possesses:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous student supervision experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Relates well to high school students, colleagues, and members of the public</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain discretion and a high level of confidentiality</p> </li><li> <p>Computer skills to allow for the use of PowerSchool and SWIPE attendance procedures</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in resolving student conflicts</p> </li><li> <p>Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate any concerns or incidents to security and/or administration</p> </li><li> <p>Escort students as needed to the office or other parts of the school</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with student dismissal at the end of the school day</p> </li><li> <p>Assist security for school sponsored events</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Applications will only be accepted online at the District Website: www.er9.org.
