<p>Current Madison College employees must apply to the internal career site by logging into Workday</p> <p>Job Posting Date:</p> <p>December 15, 2025</p> <p>Application Deadline:</p> <p>Salary Information:</p> <p>$17.95 - $20.96</p> <p>Department:</p> <p>School of Academic Advancement_Student Support</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Madison College's School of Academic Advancement is seeking a Student Support Coordinator to serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students for the High School Completion program, guiding them through the intake and orientation process, and connecting them to essential college resources.</p> <p>The Student Support Coordinator role is responsible for delivering responsive and inclusive services, student-centered support, maintaining accurate scheduling services, and participating in outreach efforts that encourage student engagement and retention. Offering accessible and coordinated assistance, this position plays a critical role in helping students navigate key transition points in their academic journey, particularly those working toward high school completion.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <p>Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.</p> <p>Benefits: Madison College provides a generous benefits package of vacation, holidays, health/vision/dental/life insurance options, and you will be able to participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).</p> <p>Grant Funded: This position renewable grant funded through June,30,2026. Continuation of this position is dependent on continued grant funding beyond this date. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.</p> <p>Required Documents (1):</p> <ol> <li>Resume </li></ol> <ul> <li>Failure to include this document by the first consideration date will result in the disqualification of your application. </li></ul> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as the initial point of contact for prospective students by welcoming visitors, answering inquiries and guiding individuals through the program intake process to support informed enrollment decisions. </li><li>Assesses student needs and refers individuals to appropriate college services and resources to ensure access to academic and personal support. </li><li>Coordinates intake follow-up by scheduling advising appointments and providing students with accurate information to support timely enrollment. </li><li>Supports student retention efforts by participating in outreach activities and calling campaigns to promote continued engagement and enrollment. </li><li>Provides cross-program administrative support, including assistance with language education programming, to ensure consistent service across departmental areas. </li><li>Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential. </li><li>Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values. </li><li>Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of college resources, services and student support systems. </li><li>Knowledge of relevant computer and software programs such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases. </li><li>Ability to work independently with general supervision. </li><li>Ability to provide customer service and resolve concerns. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment. </li><li>Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>0-2 years of relevant work experience. </li></ul> <p>Madison College does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
