<p>As a Welder you will be responsible for completing proper measures, cuts and welds on components and assemblies.</p> <p>Currently there is an opening for a Welder in our Panels department on 1st shift (6:30a - 2:30p. Monday - Friday).</p> <p>Panels Welder: Starting at $20.29/hr. on 1st shift.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Gather materials and supplies as needed. </li><li>Verify correct type, quality, color, and size of components. </li><li>Adjust gauges and settings on welder. </li><li>Measure, cut, sand, machine, and weld components per work order, blueprint, or instructions. </li><li>Maintain welder and related equipment in good working order. </li><li>Completes necessary paperwork. </li><li>Fill out DMN . </li><li>Will be operating a 4-point TIG welder. </li><li>Assist other departments as necessary. </li><li>Read work orders and follow instructions. </li><li>Frequently asks production area if they need help. </li><li>Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery. </li><li>Participate in improving our products, processes, equipment, and methods. </li><li>Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner. </li><li>Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times. </li><li>Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance. </li><li>Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred. </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>TIG welding basic skills required. </li><li>Aluminum TIG Welding skills preferred. </li><li>Must be able to create a bead and hold a stick. </li><li>Mechanically inclined </li><li>Ability to work overtime. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). </li></ul>
