<p>Role Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Assistant to support the success of our customer experience. This is a key position that ensures a clean, organized dining room, timely table service, prompt and accurate delivery of menu items, and seamless collaboration across service roles. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and is eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.</p> <p>Role Responsibilities</p> <p>Guest Experience & Table Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver food and beverages accurately, with an understanding of menu details.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with guest needs and relay questions or concerns to the appropriate team member.</p> </li><li> <p>Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with packaging takeout orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain awareness of the dining room and proactively assist where needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Dining Room & Service Maintenance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized.</p> </li><li> <p>Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware throughout the shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff at all times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Operational & Team Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Memorize table and seat numbers to aid in efficient service.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate guest concerns clearly to team leads.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist FOH staff during high-volume periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Help with opening and closing duties, including setting/resetting the dining room.</p> </li></ul> <p>Role Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not necessary.
