<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>To aid the Chain Department in achieving its sales plan and marketing objectives through the effective management of the Chain Merchandisers.</p> <p>REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Manage the Merchandisers Labor Budget. </li><li>Hire, train and develop Merchandisers to perform their daily tasks. </li><li>Teach 10 point merchandising steps to insure Merchandising Standards are met. </li><li>Perform daily route rides with Merchandisers. </li><li>Maintain accurate records on all merchandisers. </li><li>Verify expense reports. </li><li>Perform bi-annual performance evaluations of all merchandisers. </li><li>Track performance of merchandising programs/contests. </li><li>Build relationships with Store Management in all accounts. </li><li>Work closely and communicate with the Delivery, Sales, Payroll, HR and Key Account Departments, as well as, Labor Union Representatives where applicable. </li><li>Performs other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:</p> <ul> <li>Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and five years Sales/Marketing experience; OR seven years Sales/Marketing Management experience. </li><li>Must maintain a valid Driver's License. </li><li>Related training or certification. </li><li>Experience working in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required by personnel so classified.
