<p>Estimator</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We're seeking a talented Estimator to join our team. With a minimum of 1 year of experience in sitework estimating, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing project plans and preparing detailed cost estimates. If you excel in estimating software and have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Cost Analysis: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. </li><li>Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information. </li><li>Collaborative Estimation: Work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates. </li><li>Cost Factors: Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses. </li><li>Bid Proposals: Prepare and present bid proposals, budgets, and cost reports to clients and stakeholders. </li><li>Lifecycle Monitoring: Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes in scope or conditions. </li><li>Data Management: Maintain a database of historical cost data and industry trends to support future estimates. </li><li>Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Estimation and construction management </li><li>Proficiency in estimating software </li><li>Experience working for a site contractor </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality </li><li>Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
