<p>Administrative Specialist - Youth Services/YouthBuild</p> <p>Pay Range $21.75 to $27.00 per hour</p> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Community Teamwork is a private non-profit organization located in Lowell MA. We leverage our programs, our partnerships, and our collective voice to foster equity, compassion, and community engagement by creating housing, education, and economic opportunities.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>As an Administrative Specialist in our Youth Services/YouthBuild program, you would play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by providing exceptional professional administrative support to this department. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, good time management, and outstanding organizational and customer service skills.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides departmental reception services, receiving and directing visitors or calls </li><li>Prepares reports and presentations, often of a complex or confidential nature </li><li>Supports organization of marketing materials, reception area, case management offices, and Mill You program to ensure a welcoming, inclusive and informational environment </li><li>Organize and assist in planning meetings, events, and hosting client visits internal/external. This includes maintaining and organizing meeting minutes and documentation </li><li>Ensures that departmental operations comply with organizational policies and procedures. Participates in and contributes to special projects as directed by the department head. </li><li>Receives and responds to correspondence and maintains departmental records. </li><li>Communicates with vendors to ensure that administrative or program needs are maintained </li><li>Serve as the liaison with CTI administrative offices and Division to ensure follow through and completion of all administrative tasks </li><li>Collaborate with Youth Services/YouthBuild Front Door staff to communicate/engage needs of young adults accessing the Youth Opportunity Center </li><li>Participate in trainings to support a youth-focused, trauma informed lens </li><li>Participate in program meetings as required </li><li>Performs other related duties as required </li><li>Uphold the values of CTI Equity, Integrity, Compassion </li></ul> <p>The duties listed above are representative of the work performed. Other related duties may be assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent education </li><li>5+ years of relevant work experience </li><li>Ability to build collaborative relationships </li><li>Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure with good problem-solving and decision-making skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Excellent teamwork skills </li><li>Proficient Computer Skills to Include Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and comfort learning new software and tracking systems </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) </li><li>Associates Degree </li></ul> <p>Benefit Information</p> <p>At Community Teamwork, our employees enjoy best-in-class benefits to support their physical, financial and emotional wellness.
