<p>As a key member of Cetera's Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Senior Financial Analyst will partner with key accounting, finance, and business unit stakeholders to support consolidated management reporting, revenue planning, external reporting, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting processes. This role has high exposure to leadership and is critical to our ability to plan for and report on overall business performance.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role, candidates must be located near an office hub: St Cloud, MN | San Diego, CA | El Segundo, CA</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive revenue planning financial modeling and analysis efforts </li><li>Prepare presentation materials for Board of Director meetings, Earnings calls, and Internal Leadership meetings </li><li>Consolidate, research, and explain Actual vs. Budget financial variances each month </li><li>Assist in leading overall company Budget and Forecast processes </li><li>Develop strong understanding of key performance indicators and revenue drivers </li><li>Become a subject matter expert on our Oracle management reporting system, helping to drive improvements and efficiencies in our current reporting structures </li><li>Review and analyze P&L results before each accounting close to ensure accuracy </li><li>Develop excellent relationships with colleagues across the business to foster an effective cross-functional working environment and collaborative spirit </li><li>Collaborate with internal recruiting teams and channel leaders to support recruiting and renewal efforts for financial institution partners </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field </li><li>3 - 5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or business analysis role </li><li>Highly motivated with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment </li><li>Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles </li><li>Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills </li><li>Ability to extract, manipulate, and turn large sets of data into actionable insights </li></ul> <p>Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the Financial Service industry </li><li>Experience using large financial reporting systems (i.e., Essbase, Oracle Hyperion, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrated experience building financial models </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements: Requires very little to no travel (less than 5%)</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The base annual salary range for this role is $62,000 to $108,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
