<p>Commercial HVAC Estimator</p> <p>Grand Rapids, MI</p> <p>Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking a motivated Commercial HVAC Estimator!</p> <p>Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical trades and has proudly been in business for over 35 years! Integrity, technical expertise, and high-quality service are the guiding principles of the Vander Hyde team.</p> <p>A qualified Commercial HVAC Estimator's Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors </li><li>Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and project management software </li><li>Create labor estimates quotes and respond to inbound queries </li><li>Analyze required documents, blueprints, and project plans to thoroughly understand the project. </li><li>Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product </li><li>Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service </li><li>Manage bids from vendors </li><li>Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis </li><li>Present prepared forecasts to management and other stakeholders </li><li>Compile and record actual costs </li><li>Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years of field experience </li><li>Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record </li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work assignments </li><li>Ability to develop budgets and timelines </li><li>Strong knowledge and understanding of construction </li></ul> <p>Benefits Include:</p> <ul> <li>COMPETITIVE WAGES </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>FREE HEALTH INSURANCE option for the employee! </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>401(k) </li><li>401(k) matching </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Salary: $75,000-$90,000</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm</p> <p>Experience: 7 years of field experience</p>
