<p>The Branch Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of sales support, customer service, order fulfillment, warehousing, logistics, delivery, rental, and service operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive operational efficiency, team development, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations management within a distribution or industrial setting, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage financial performance while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.</p> <ul> <li>Note: Previous experience in lead, asbestos, or other hazardous materials abatement, and/or interior demolition is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</p> <p>Sales Support and Customer Service:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and ensure the timely preparation of accurate quotations. </li><li>Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. </li><li>Work closely with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Order Fulfillment:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely picking, packing, and shipping of products. </li><li>Monitor order status and address any delays or issues that may arise. </li></ul> <p>Warehousing and Logistics:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the warehouse operations, including inventory management, organization, and maintenance. </li><li>Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors. </li><li>Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing transportation and distribution. </li></ul> <p>Delivery and Rental:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise the delivery and rental processes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of products and equipment to customers. </li><li>Coordinate rental equipment availability, maintenance, and returns. </li><li>Implement measures to track and improve delivery and rental efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Service Operations:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee service operations, including maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring quality standards are met. </li><li>Collaborate with the technical team to schedule service appointments and ensure timely resolution of customer equipment issues. </li></ul> <p>Team Hiring and Development:</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated operations team. </li><li>Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth. </li><li>Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. </li></ul> <p>Building Strong Customer Relationships:</p> <ul> <li>Cultivate strong relationships with key customers by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service. </li><li>Act as a point of contact for customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution of issues. </li><li>Collaborate with the sales team to gather customer feedback and insights for continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Profit and Loss Management:</p> <ul> <li>Take ownership of the branch's profit and loss performance. Drive the achievement of branch profitability goals while adhering to the annual budget </li><li>Coordinate with sales to implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability, identifying opportunities for margin improvement. </li><li>Analyze financial reports to make informed decisions that positively impact the branch's financial performance. </li></ul> <p>Operating Expense Reduction:</p> <ul> <li>Identify areas of cost optimization within the branch operations. </li><li>Develop and implement initiatives to reduce operating expenses while maintaining quality and service levels. </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Continuously evaluate operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness. </li><li>Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Analyze and assess branch operations, emphasizing safety and quality standards while overseeing the branch's safety program </li></ul>
