<p>The Department of Philosophy at Denison University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2025. Areas of specialization and competence are open. A successful candidate will complement a pluralistic department with a tradition of excellence in undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts context and in active and rigorous scholarship. The candidate will teach a three-three course load including first-year writing courses and a course in their area of interest.</p> <p>PhD in Philosophy by June 1 is preferred. (ABD will be considered as Instructor until PhD is attained.)
