<p>In this position, you will participate in projects related to airport pavement design, airport pavement management systems, construction materials testing, and related areas.</p> <p>This position requires either:</p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university with at least 15 years of work experience in airport pavement design and related areas </li></ul> <p>Or</p> <ul> <li>M.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university, with specialization related to pavement design or materials, and at least 10 years of work experience in airport pavement design and related areas. </li></ul> <p>Requirements of this position also include but aren't limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be able to obtain applicable security clearances. </li><li>Professional Engineer license </li><li>3 to 5 years of business development and marketing experience in federal/state/municipal transportation infrastructure </li><li>Developing and implementing strategies for our full range of MAD/Transportation products and services. </li><li>Lead efforts to identify, qualify, and capture opportunities related to the MAD's core business areas in pavement and infrastructure engineering & research, as well as related new business areas. </li><li>Proven success identifying, qualifying, and pursuing business opportunities. </li><li>1 to 3 years of experience managing large, multi-year transportation infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary project teams including subconsultants/subcontractors </li><li>Experience in identifying, understanding, and matching client needs in organizational capabilities related to the Mid-Atlantic Division's core business areas of civil infrastructure </li><li>The desire and capacity to travel, typically for one to three days at a time but sometimes for up to a week </li></ul> <p>At ARA, employees are our greatest assets.
