<p>POSITION: On-Campus Community Assistant</p> <p>COMPENSATION:</p> <p>Pursuant to CA regulations, if this job is performed in CA, the salary range is $19.18 - $21.18.</p> <p>Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. We offer a 401(k) retirement plan, student loan assistance, licensing and continuing education reimbursement, parental leave, and housing allowances or gifts.</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Community Manager</p> <p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Through a strategic partnership between Capstone Management Partners (CMP) and Cardinal Group Management, we are providing for-purpose on-campus student housing management across the United States. CMP is focused on providing customized management services specific to university partners who prefer to outsource operations and facilities management while maintaining control over residential life services. For this reason, CMP is primarily focused on affiliated campus edge and on-campus student housing facilities. CMP combines the strength and experience of a nationally renowned housing development and asset management company with the skills, efficiencies, and procedures of one of the most innovative and prolific student housing property managers in the country, Cardinal Group Management.</p> <p>A CMP Community Assistant is an adaptive, outgoing, and hardworking contributor. This position requires the ability to maintain high-quality customer service, safety awareness, and managing daily administrative tasks.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to):</p> <p>Business Hours Shift:</p> <ul> <li>Welcomes students and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering questions, or referring inquiries. </li><li>Cover front desk duties from 6 am- 12 am (part-time / 4-hour shifts). </li><li>Maintains a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. </li><li>Assist with the move-in and move-out proceeds for all residents. </li><li>Assist with the turnover process inside the units. </li><li>Track and distribute resident packages and mail. </li><li>Uses MS Word and Outlook effectively to create documents, send emails, and maintain calendar appointments. </li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related administrative results as needed. </li><li>Answer phones and emails for CMP/CCA regarding occupancy and customer service. </li><li>Perform the lockout/key process for residents as assigned by the Coordinator. </li><li>Participates in Cardinal U as required. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook accurately and effectively. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication. </li><li>Timely, detail oriented and motivated to come to work! </li><li>Ability to work up to forty hours per week including weekends as assigned (move in, move out, etc.) </li><li>Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal's Core Values every day. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
