With us, you'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with people who exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit and work together as a team to continually think bigger and bolder.</p> <p>Power, Torque and Drivability experience are nothing without Controls.</p> <p>Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization (PVPC) is the "brain" of the Propulsion Systems division aimed at translating Performance and Functional Objectives into Controls features implemented in the embedded software (SW).</p> <p>The PVPC organization scope spans the V development cycle with the following core missions:</p> <ul> <li>translate system specifications and objectives into requirements </li><li>distribute control functions and networking strategies </li><li>implement core functions and diagnostics algorithm design </li><li>validate the functions to requirements </li><li>continuous improvement by means of Lesson Learned </li></ul> <p>Within PVPC organization, the SW verification engineer acts as the main technical reference for the SW verification of the propulsion nodes (engine, transmission and hybrid controller) .</p> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible to guarantee that all the requirements are properly implemented by testing the Simulink model using advanced virtual facilities (Hardware in the Loop).</p> <p>Being a SW Verification engineer means you will face daily challenges, but you will also have great satisfactions in your work. Every day you will learning something new.</p> <p>Hybrid role (some remote work).</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <p>Requirements Analysis vs SW documentation</p> <p>Design the tests to be performed on SW features</p> <p>Execute the designed test using the advanced virtual facilities</p> <p>Interact with the Calibration team to pre-calibrate the new SW algorithm</p> <p>Support Lesson Learned for the escaped issues and reinforce the process to improve the quality of testing</p> <p>Troubleshooting issues to facilitate root cause analysis and issue closure</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</p> <p>Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience (2 years in automotive)</p> <p>Ability to work in an Agile environment</p> <p>Excellent knowledge of Simulink models</p> <p>Fluent in English</p> <p>Have a valid drivers license</p> <p>Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable</p> <p>Previous engineering experience in Controls/SW development, testing or calibration will be considered a plus</p> <p>Must have a valid driver's license.</p> <p>V2Soft is an Equal Opportunity Employer ( EOE).
