<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of patient access and registration to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive patient experience. This role provides frontline leadership for staff performing scheduling and insurance verification, while ensuring compliance with established policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. The Supervisor serves as a key resource for staff and patients, assisting with workflow coordination, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise patient registration staff to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely completion of registration and access functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching, training, and daily guidance to staff to promote professional growth and accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor staff productivity, quality, and adherence to departmental performance standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in resolving escalated patient registration or financial clearance issues, including insurance coverage and authorization concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, payer requirements, and organizational policies in all registration activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and review reports on staff performance and registration activities to identify areas for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Support initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and improve service delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in departmental meetings, workgroups, and projects to support patient access and organizational objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Experience Requirement: 0-4 years of related/progressive experience</p> <p>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
