<p>Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field. </li><li>Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. </li><li>Must be registered with the ARRTN or NMTCB. Must have current license to practice in the state of Iowa. </li><li>Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date. </li><li>Previous experience preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of radiation safety, radiopharmaceutical handling, and cross-sectional anatomy. </li><li>Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. </li><li>High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others. </li><li>Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team. </li><li>Strong computer knowledge. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods, move equipment, and assist patients. </li><li>Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must be competent in all assigned areas. </li><li>Willingness to complete further radiographic education or certification as required by the department. </li><li>Must demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills as required for this position. </li></ul>
