Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily and repetitive data entry into a computer system, along with data verification of coded or un-coded data from documents or other sources. </li><li>Collect designated forms, data, and documents, and enter data from these forms into a designated desktop, mid-range, or mainframe computer system. </li><li>Perform editing and maintenance of databases, including the maintenance of accurate and current data records. </li><li>Read and review user manuals and receive training, technical direction, and guidance on data processing operations. </li><li>Initiate or respond to inquiries from staff, schools, and management. </li><li>Collect and compile information and data for reports. </li><li>Compose, type, edit, and appropriately distribute correspondence, memos, notices, agendas, reports, and other materials; checks for accurate and completeness of materials. </li><li>File relevant paperwork and search files for various data. </li><li>Download and manipulate records from OCLC and other databases for cataloging library books. </li><li>Perform level II cataloging. </li><li>Coordinate the classification, indexing, shelving, and circulation of books, periodicals, audio-visual, and multi-media information. </li><li>Research and investigate special projects, preparing reports and analyses. </li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with LION team to determine technical solutions for cataloging issues and performing retrospective conversion projects. </li><li>Provide information and training to less-experienced catalogers. </li><li>Respond to and resolve inquiries from District staff and students referred by Library Tech I staff. </li><li>Check and verify invoices, orders, and item records. </li><li>Perform other duties as requested. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent and passing score on the EdReady. </li><li>48 college semester credit hours OR an Associate's Degree OR a BS/BA degree. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of library experience. </li><li>Three or more years of related experience in administrative/data entry.
