Working under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncology Medical Director and the Cancer Services Operations Manager, the Radiation Therapist performs a range of specialized technical procedures to ensure accurate tumor localization and the precise application of therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation for the treatment of disease or injury.</p> <p>Radiation Therapist Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy. </li><li>Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) in Radiation Therapy (T). 25 years of experience as a Radiation therapist may be considered in lieu of A.R.R.T (T). </li><li>State licensure in the state in which they work as a Radiation Therapist. </li><li>One year of experience as a radiation therapist is preferred. </li><li>CPR certification is required. </li></ul> <p>Radiation Therapist Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $39.77 - $61.64 Commensurate with experience</p>
