Our products and solutions solve global investment managers' challenges, enhance our clients' experience, and build scalability/efficiencies for these clients and BBH.</p> <p>As a member of the Markets Currency Strategy team, the Markets Strategist is an integral part of the client relationship team, providing insightful daily commentary, quarterly research, and ad hoc content to both external and internal clients. This role is critical to the expansion and deepening of client relationships through currency research and insights. This individual creates content related to the market, global and domestic macroeconomic trends, and product-specific analysis to inform trading strategies and help clients navigate a complex global marketplace in an effective and differentiated way. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced, highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment working across business lines with a shared goal of driving successful client outcomes.</p> <p>Currency Strategy & Research</p> <ul> <li>Analyze global macroeconomic developments, monetary policy trends, and geopolitical risks to assess their impact on currency markets </li><li>Generate views about market risks and opportunities to engage our clients </li><li>Build up and strengthen the macro research and strategy process and framework </li><li>Develop and maintain models to forecast exchange rates and monitor currency valuation </li><li>Conduct market and industry research to stay ahead of evolving currency dynamics </li></ul> <p>Commentary & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Deliver timely insights through daily, weekly, quarterly, and ad hoc currency strategy reports </li><li>Translate complex topics into clear, compelling insights that resonate with key audiences </li><li>Serve as a market-facing voice for Investor Services Markets Strategy, contributing to media (TV, podcasts, digital, print) to share views on currency dynamics and macroeconomic trends </li><li>Coordinate the publication of commentaries across platforms, including Bloomberg and BBH public sites. </li><li>Support the global thought leadership strategy within currency research. Strategy should be inclusive of content ideas, creation, execution, and distribution and in alignment with BBH's business strategy and market positioning </li><li>Maintain a strong presence on LinkedIn and cultivate a robust professional network to broaden the reach of content and ideas </li></ul> <p>Relationship Management (RM)</p> <ul> <li>Represent the RM team in the creation and delivery of currency research to BBH's clients and prospects </li><li>Deepen relationships through direct client engagement and client specific, curated market content and insights </li><li>Speak confidently at conferences and client events, presenting insights with clarity and impact </li><li>Support the department's client growth and retention efforts by aligning commentary and insights with strategic priorities objectives </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li>Strong research and investment strategy formulation background, including strong technical experience and analytical skills </li><li>Knowledge in international monetary system and economic history </li><li>Ability to be creative with analytics to support ideas with data, frameworks and visualizations </li><li>Experience with foreign exchange trading instruments </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Has a client-focused perspective, values teamwork and collaboration </li><li>Is intellectually curious, skilled at planning, organization, critical thinking and problem-solving </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$145,000 - $175,000</p> <p>BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
