Responsible for processes involving DegreeWorks, Banner and coordination of graduate student graduation and graduate assistantships. Our employees benefit from a collaborative community, cutting-edge research opportunities, and outstanding resources.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates the approval of degree plans for master's and specialist students </li><li>Coordinates the graduation requirements for graduate students </li><li>Coordinates the graduation communication plans </li><li>Coordinates the final graduation clearance processes </li><li>Participates in the Graduate Commencement </li><li>Exercises independent judgment in assessing the qualifications of each applicant for graduation </li><li>Coordinates the approval of graduate certificates </li><li>Coordinates the graduate assistantship approval process </li><li>Assists with student requests and petition processes </li><li>Scanning and indexing graduate studies documents </li><li>Promotes the well-being of the office by cross-training with co-workers, briefing co-workers on current activities, updating computer skills and problem solving </li><li>Contributes to the effective team management of all relevant problems, issues and opportunities </li><li>This job description shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the above duties. May temporarily perform other duties assigned to maintain operations and services. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two years of related experience. Additional education and/or experience may be considered as a substitution for the minimum education and experience requirements.
