Eligibility and Employer Sponsored Plans can be found within each of the links offered.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The successful applicant will work with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) Tribal Members and with community, state, regional, and federal partners that serve Tribal Members to develop and maintain opportunities that support Local Food Systems.</p> <p>Applicant should be familiar with basic evaluation practices and be comfortable supplying data for grant reporting. The position will be part of a highly collaborative team of community leaders and professionals working on tight timelines to meet current food systems project needs. Nights and weekends as required. Minimum Experience/Education</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree in an agricultural related field is required; Master's degree preferred. The Temporary County Extension Agent has primary responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating programs within assigned areas of program responsibility. The Temporary County Extension Agent cooperates with colleagues in the North Carolina Cooperative Extension and county leaders in performing assigned responsibilities. The performance of assigned responsibilities is governed by the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension.</p> <p>Department Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Comfortable with the use of standard Microsoft Office Applications </li></ul> <p>Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with EBCI community. </li><li>Knowledge of Tribal Communities.
