Millennium Home Care, a leading provider of in-home healthcare services, is looking for dedicated PRN SLPs to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to identify strengths, weaknesses, and treatment needs. </li><li>Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient goals, including speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties. </li><li>Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services, such as articulation therapy, language therapy, fluency therapy, voice therapy, and swallowing therapy, using evidence-based practices. </li><li>Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills, swallowing safety, and overall quality of life. </li><li>Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. </li><li>Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Licensure: Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida. </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing facility is required. </li><li>Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care. </li><li>Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. </li><li>Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Flexible Scheduling </li><li>401(k) Plan with Employer Match </li><li>Professional Development Opportunities </li><li>Supportive Work Environment </li></ul> <p>Join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients.</p>
