<p>Job#: 3031871</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Project Manager Principal</p> <p>Location: New Albany, Ohio (Onsite)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Principal Project Manager to manage one or more intermediate and complex projects within a matrix team environment. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and coordination to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and achieving short and long-range goals to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires experience in major commercial construction, electrical utility, or power systems.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for safety processes, ensuring a safe working environment. </li><li>Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate assigned project activities. </li><li>Manage, develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff. </li><li>Effectively manage costs and reallocate funding in a timely manner. </li><li>Lead planning meetings and project updates, including stakeholder presentations. </li><li>Develop and actively manage working relationships with project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors. </li><li>Provide detailed guidance, instruction, and training to improve design, systems, procedures, and processes. </li><li>Supervise up to two employees as assigned, including performance management and professional development. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with seven years of qualified experience, or an Associate's degree in the same disciplines with nine years of qualified experience.</p> <p>Experience: Qualified experience must include work in project management, major construction field experience, project estimating, project controls, or project engineering. Experience must include demonstrated successful project management duties, business acumen, and responsibility for all PMI PMBOK knowledge areas.
