<p>Duties</p> <p>The JH/HS Band and General Elementary Music Teacher. Provide lessons, planning and implementing concerts, Pep Band, IHSA contests, and ensembles are required job duties. In addition, formation of special groups such as Jazz Band is expected. Exact duties are flexible and we are open to exploring different options.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Teacher must be energetic and innovative to create a student-centered learning environment. Must hold valid Illinois Teaching Licenses and pass a criminal background check.</p> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>As per collective bargaining agreement: we offer one of the highest starting salaries in Northwest Illinois. An extra-duties stipend is also part of this position. Benefits include the following: full TRS, health and dental insurance, and life insurance.
