<p>The Kitchen Runner is responsible for transporting stock to departments and properly maintaining storage areas.</p> <p>Position: Hourly, Part-Time</p> <p>Location: Gold Strike Casino</p> <p>PRINICIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Properly receive the product from the warehouse.</p> </li><li> <p>Rotate stock and remove it from boxes.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with Department Manager for proper storage.</p> </li><li> <p>Remove the product from boxes as designated by Room Chef.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively manage time.</p> </li><li> <p>Other job-related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in a similar environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience</p> </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.</p> </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>This role includes frequent standing and bending. Constant walking, reaching, balancing, and grasping items in a food preparation area. It also includes lifting carrying and pushing up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking.
